Guy Choate is the author of the illustrated essay Gas! Gas! Gas! and co-author of School of Man: A Man’s Guide to Living, Loving, & Legacy. He has published essays in such literary journals as War, Literature, & the Arts, Louisville Review, The Journal, Hobart, and Lunch Ticket, among other places.

A U.S. Army veteran, Guy has taught high school in Memphis, and college at the University of New Orleans, where he earned an MFA in Creative Writing. He currently works in corporate communications in the engineering industry and volunteers his time as director of the Argenta Reading Series in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he lives with his wife and son.
